Gen3 and the market
Comparison with progressive jackpots, bonus bets and competitors.
Gen3: substantive comparison with the market
Document task
This document helps the sales manager understand the market without technical and English noise. Here's a look at who Gen3 competes with, what other vendors are strong at, and how, in simple terms explain the Gen3 difference.
The comparison is based on public materials from suppliers. This is not a technical audit. The purpose of the document is provide a practical market map for conversation with the client.
Dictionary for reading
English terms are often found in competitors' public materials. For a sales conversation it is better to translate them into Russian:
| English term | How to say it in English | Simple meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Progressive jackpot | Progressive Jackpot | The jackpot grows due to player bets |
| Bonus bet | Bonus bet | Market English term for a bet on top of the base game. In our Russian materials we say “bonus bet”. |
| Table game | Gaming table game | Baccarat, Blackjack, Poker games and Similar Dealer Games |
| Wheel/spin | Wheel of Fortune / spin | Visual mechanics, where the player sees the rotation of the Wheel of Fortune and the final result |
| Mystery jackpot | Mystery Jackpot | Jackpot based on a hidden condition, usually with a payout in a given range |
| Community prize | Shared prize for players at the table | Not only one player wins, but a group of participants |
| Bet sensor | Bet sensor | A device in the table that records the fact of a bet in the zone, but usually does not count the amount and denominations of chips |
| Dealer console / dealer pad | Dealer screen or dealer pad | Dealer working device for controlling the system |
| White-label design | Design for the casino brand | The appearance can be customized for a specific casino |
| Branded content | Licensed Branded Content | Games or bets with a famous name or brand |
Short conclusion
The market already has strong jackpot systems. Therefore, Gen3 cannot be sold with the phrase “we also have jackpot". This is unconvincing.
Correct position:
Gen3 - bonus-jackpot system for gaming tables. It gives the player a clear bonus bet, the casino gets a large jackpot for advertising and a flexible economy, the dealer gets a controlled work scenario, and Asian markets - support for Baccarat, Niu Niu and Tiger vs Dragon.
Who is on the market
In this table, you don't have to look for what makes each supplier unique. Many strong players market advantages overlap: well-known brand, ready-made equipment, clear presentation, progressive jackpot, delivery experience and casino trust. For a sales manager, it is more important first understand what exactly they offer and why the client may perceive them as strong.
| Player / class of solutions | What they do in simple words | Where they are strong |
|---|---|---|
| AGS | They sell progressive jackpots and visual bonus events for gaming tables. | Well-known brand, strong packaging, clear presentation of jackpot mechanics, delivery experience. |
| TCSJOHNHUXLEY Supernova | They sell the hardware platform for the jackpot: sensors, screens, dealer console and server. | Well-known brand, ready-made set of equipment, clear hardware delivery, customizable jackpot model. |
| Galaxy Gaming | They sell ready-made games, branded bonus bets and progressive jackpot systems. | A well-known brand, a ready-made catalog of games and bets, recognizable names, distribution and implementation experience. |
| Light & Wonder / Shuffle Master | They sell a large package of casino products: games, equipment, systems and progressive solutions. | A very strong brand, scale, wide product portfolio, trust of large clients and large distribution. |
| Ten Stix | They sell a niche progressive jackpot for Baccarat. | Narrow focus on Baccarat, simple product idea, clear integration without a heavy overall system. |
| Paltronics GES | They sell Baccarat jackpots, Mystery jackpots and individual table betting products. | Practical solutions for specific casino tasks, experience in jackpots, equipment and table products. |
| SET-Europe and similar screen solutions | They sell simple solutions around the jackpot screen: screen, input remote, prize levels and basic statistics. | Simplicity, clarity, quick start, lower adoption threshold if the casino only needs a basic jackpot screen. |
Comparison based on main criteria
| Criterion | What the market often has | What Gen3 provides | Why is this important |
|---|---|---|---|
| Large jackpot | There are many strong solutions | Yes, plus clear bonus mechanics around it | Jackpot size attracts attention, but does not guarantee bets |
| Casino advertising screens | Usually the screens at the table or the jackpot counter next to the game are publicly visible | You can provide separate advertising screen content: the current jackpot amount, animation and videos for internal and external casino screens | One large progressive jackpot can be used as an advertising object inside the hall and in external advertising: at the entrance, facade, external billboards and screens along the road to the casino |
| Bonus bet | Often fixed or limited | The bet range can be adjusted according to the hall | VIP won't take bets that are too small |
| Wheel of Fortune | Often used as a visual event or standalone bet | In Gen3, the Wheel of Fortune is designed as a risk game after a win | The player risks the win already received: they can multiply it or lose this specific win |
| Equipment | Sensors, screens, remotes, controllers | You can start easier, without heavy table modifications | Casinos are less afraid of long and expensive implementation |
| Dealer errors | Interfaces are often described, but error scenarios are few | Correction of bet, box, event and risk game is built into the script | A real mistake shouldn't stop play at the table |
| VIP | Not always disclosed, often depends on the specific bet | Bets can be adjusted to match table limits | The system is interesting not only to the mass player |
| Asian Games | Baccarat is common, Tiger vs Dragon is almost never revealed | Baccarat, Niu Niu, Tiger vs Dragon and the Poker-family | It is closer to the target markets of the CIS and Asia |
| Tiger vs Dragon | A full-fledged model is not visible in public materials of large systems | There is a model through a virtual third card | It's difficult to build bonus events on two real cards |
| Multicurrency | Rarely stands out clearly | Can be used as an argument for local markets | In Asia and the CIS, real bets can be in different currencies |
| Casino brand design | Strong players often have | You can do the same | The visual part should look like part of the hall |
AGS
In simple words
AGS sells progressive jackpots for gaming tables. In public presentation they are clearly visible shared jackpot for multiple tables or games, STAX platform and visual events like the Wheel Fortune.
Important: A shared jackpot across multiple tables or games is not a unique feature that differentiates AGS from Gen3. Gen3 can also combine many tables, different games and even several casinos into one jackpot network. Therefore, in a conversation with a client, there is no need to argue about the very fact of combining tables. This is basic the possibility of a strong progressive system. You need to compare deeper: how bets, payouts, VIP limits, Asian games, risk game and dealer work.
| What AGS looks strong | What does this mean for casinos |
|---|---|
| One common jackpot for different games and tables | A large total appears in the hall, which attracts attention. Gen3 also has this opportunity |
| Wheel of Fortune and similar events | A noticeable animation appears in the hall, which draws attention to the table. But if a spin often ends without a win, it can waste the dealer's and players' time |
| Total winnings at the table | An event can involve more than just one player |
| Several levels of prizes | You can show different winning sizes |
| Support for popular games | The casino sees familiar games: Blackjack, Baccarat, Roulette, Craps, Poker games |
How to explain the Gen3 difference
AGS is strong as a major supplier of innovative gaming table solutions. There is no need to argue with this. But the Wheel of Fortune should not automatically be considered an absolute advantage. If it is related to a separate bet, the player may be confused between similar bets. If rotation often fails winning, players and dealer waste time waiting for an empty event. What if the wheel needs to be turned? For several players, the pace of play at the table may noticeably slow down. Gen3 should be compared like this:
| Customer question | How to answer |
|---|---|
| "AGS also has a big jackpot" | Yes, many people have a big jackpot. Gen3 is different in that it makes the bonus bet flexible, understandable and convenient in the actual operation of the table. |
| "They have a Wheel of Fortune" | The Wheel of Fortune is clearly visible on the screen, but as a single bet or frequent empty spin, it can confuse the player and slow down the table. In Gen3, the Wheel of Fortune is designed as a risk game after a win: the player already sees the amount and decides whether to take it, multiply it or lose this particular winning. |
| "They have one jackpot that can combine several tables and games" | Gen3 also has a common progressive jackpot for many tables, different games and even several casinos. This is not an AGS difference. The Gen3 difference needs to be explained through VIP limits, Asian games, post-win risk play, post-result settlement and simple dealer operation. |
Meeting phrase:
AGS sells progressive jackpots and notable visual events well. Gen3 is a must watch if what is important for casinos is a flexible bonus bet, VIP tables, Asian games and clear work of the dealer without unnecessary waiting at the table.
TCSJOHNHUXLEY Supernova
In simple words
TCSJOHNHUXLEY Supernova is a ready-made hardware platform for jackpot gaming tables. They they sell not only the program, but also a physical set: bet sensors, table screen, dealer remote control, controller and server.
| What Supernova looks strong | What does this mean for casinos |
|---|---|
| Bet sensors | The system can automatically understand where the bet is. Usually this is the fact of the bet, and not the amount of chips |
| Table screen and dealer console | The dealer and players have ready-made working devices |
| Design for the casino brand | The system can look like part of a specific hall |
| Several types of prizes and jackpot scenarios | The operator has more customization options, but for the player this can blur the focus: one large jackpot amount is easier to advertise and show on all screens |
| Setting up prize triggers and jackpot replenishment | The casino can control how often individual prizes are triggered and how much of the bet contributes to the jackpot |
How to explain the Gen3 difference
Supernova is strong as a complete hardware kit. This is not bad: any system needs equipment table. But what is more important for the client is not the number of devices itself, but what the system provides in the hall: do they players bonus bet, is the jackpot growing, is it convenient for the dealer to work and does the game stop? due to common errors.
| Customer question | How to answer |
|---|---|
| "They have sensors" | Sensors are useful, but they usually record the fact of the bet, not the amount of chips. Gen3 can be launched more easily and sensors can be added later if the casino sees the benefit. |
| "They design for the casino brand" | We can also design for the casino hall and brand. But the look and feel must work with the product: a large jackpot draws attention, while bonus events, a risk game and a simple dealer scenario keep players engaged. |
| "They have many types of jackpots and mystery prizes" | For the operator, this looks flexible, but for the player, too many parallel prizes can blur the attention. Gen3 focuses on a large, understandable amount, bonus events and a risk game. |
| "They have a minimum of dealer actions" | It is not only the few actions that are important, but also what happens when an error occurs. Gen3 provides a scenario for correcting a bet, box or event. |
Meeting phrase:
TCSJOHNHUXLEY is strong as a hardware jackpot platform. Gen3 is stronger where the casino wants it first get working bonus mechanics without heavy table rework.
Galaxy Gaming
In simple words
Galaxy Gaming is strong in ready-made commercial content: games, branded bonus bets and branded products. Simply put, the provider already has invented bonus games and bets: with the name, rules, payout table and ready-made packaging for the casino. Some of them are already familiar parts of the market by name, rules or previous installations.
This doesn't mean Gen3 supports fewer games. The difference is different:
- Galaxy is strong with a ready-made set of such designed products.
- Gen3 is strong with ready-made settings for bonus mathematics and the ability to develop a new setting for specific casino.
| What Galaxy Looks Strong | What does this mean for casinos |
|---|---|
| Ready-made branded bonus bets | The casino receives an already invented bonus bet: name, rules, payout table and design |
| Branded Products | It's easier to sell through a recognizable brand |
| System for progressives at the tables | You can run different jackpot configurations |
| Sensors and dealer console | There is a ready-made infrastructure for recording bets and working as a dealer |
| Distribution and market trust | It is easier for a large casino to trust a well-known supplier |
How to explain the Gen3 difference
Galaxy shouldn't be compared as "who has more games". We can also add mechanics and expand system. The comparison should be about the type of product.
| Customer question | How to answer |
|---|---|
| "Galaxy has a lot of games and bets" | Yes, they have a strong set of ready-made commercial content: titles, rules, payout tables and design are already prepared. Gen3 also has ready-made settings for bonus mathematics and its own bonus mathematics, which has already shown results in real implementations. The difference is that Gen3 can not only be selected from ready-made settings, but also modified for a specific hall. |
| "They have branded bonus bets ready" | Yes, this helps the launch: the casino receives a ready-made bonus game with a name, rules and payout table. Gen3 also has ready-made bonus math settings, and we can additionally adapt them for a specific casino: VIP limits, Asian games, currencies and the real dealer workflow. |
| "They have a progressive system" | We also have jackpot mechanics, but the emphasis is on a clear bonus layer, risk game and real operation of the table. |
Meeting phrase:
Galaxy is strong with a ready-made set of games and branded bonus bets. Gen3 is strong because it has ready-made bonus mathematics settings that can be quickly selected, and the ability to develop a separate customization for a specific hall: games, limits, VIP, currencies and dealer work.
Light & Wonder / Shuffle Master
In simple words
Light & Wonder/Shuffle Master is a major global supplier of gaming products. Their strength is scale: games, hardware, systems, famous brands and working with large regulated markets.
| What Light & Wonder Looks Strong | What does this mean for casinos |
|---|---|
| Global brand | It is easier for a client to trust a well-known supplier |
| Large set of products | You can buy not just one product, but a package of solutions |
| Famous Games and Equipment | The casino sees a familiar format |
| System Integration | Products can be linked to wider casino infrastructure |
How to explain the Gen3 difference
There is no need to argue with them on scale. They are bigger and more famous.
| Customer question | How to answer |
|---|---|
| "A large supplier is more reliable" | Yes, a big brand gives you trust. Gen3 is interesting where flexibility is needed for a specific hall, Asian games and VIP tables. |
| "You can buy a whole package from them" | A large supplier is convenient if a casino wants to purchase many different products from one brand at once: games, equipment, systems and services. Gen3 is more appropriate if the task is already specific: to increase the participation of players in the bonus bet at gaming tables, to strengthen VIP and Asian games. |
Meeting phrase:
Large global suppliers have scale. Gen3 is interesting as it is more flexible and subject-specific solution for gaming tables, especially in the CIS and Asian markets.
Ten Stix
In simple words
Ten Stix Dragon Turtle Baccarat Progressive is an example of a niche product for Baccarat. He adds to Baccarat bonus bets and progressive jackpot, but does not require heavy gauges or special equipment.
| What Ten Stix Looks Strong | What does this mean for casinos |
|---|---|
| Focus on Baccarat | Well understood by the Asian market |
| Doesn't break the main game | The player continues to play the usual Baccarat |
| Does not require complex equipment | Easier to implement |
| There is a table of rare payouts | The player understands what the player can win |
How to explain the Gen3 difference
Ten Stix shows that the market understands the value of niche Baccarat products. But Gen3 is wider.
| Customer question | How to answer |
|---|---|
| "They have Baccarat with a progressive jackpot" | Yes, this is a strong niche. Gen3 is wider: Baccarat, Niu Niu, Tiger vs Dragon and the Poker-family. |
| “Their implementation is easier” | Gen3 can also be run without heavy sensors in the first stage. |
| “Why do we need wider if we need Baccarat?” | If a casino develops several Asian games and a VIP area, a single bonus platform may be stronger than one Baccarat product. |
Meeting phrase:
Baccarat products confirm the demand for bonus bets in Asian games. Gen3 goes wider: multiple games, shared jackpot, risk game, VIP ranges and controlled table operation.
Paltronics GES
In simple words
Paltronics GES is similar to the provider of individual gaming table solutions: Baccarat jackpots, mystery jackpots, solutions for poker halls and products that allow you to accept bets without only directly at the table, but also through a separate terminal or ticket.
| What Paltronics Looks Strong | What does this mean for casinos |
|---|---|
| Individual products for specific tasks | The casino may not use the entire platform, but a separate product for Baccarat, a poker hall or accepting bets through the terminal |
| Baccarat-oriented products | There is a focus on an important game for Asia |
| Mystery Jackpot | You can add small prizes based on a hidden condition, but for VIPs this is often a weak mechanic |
How to explain the Gen3 difference
In this comparison, Paltronics is best viewed as a provider of individual solutions for specific tasks at gaming tables: Baccarat jackpot, mystery jackpot, accepting bets through the terminal or solutions for the poker hall. Therefore, the comparison should be calm.
| Customer question | How to answer |
|---|---|
| "They have Baccarat products" | This is a good practical area. Gen3 adds general bonus mechanics, risk game, VIP ranges, Niu Niu and Tiger vs Dragon to Baccarat. |
| “Their solution looks simpler” | A simple solution may be faster to deliver if the client only needs the jackpot screen or basic jackpot mechanics. But simpler does not mean more profitable: if the player rarely sees events, the bet is taken in advance and there is no risk game after winning, engagement will be weaker. Gen3 should remain simple for the dealer, but give the player more reasons to place a bonus bet. |
Meeting phrase:
Paltronics-like solutions are good as separate products for specific tasks. Gen3 needed show as a complete, but easy-to-use bonus system: progressive jackpot, bonus events, risk game, VIP ranges and controlled dealer scenario without unnecessary burden on staff.
SET-Europe and simple screen solutions
In simple words
SET-Europe Mystery Jackpot Display - an example of a simple class of solutions: jackpot screen, input remote control, several levels of prizes, manual entry of boxes by the dealer, design for a casino and statistics. Simply put, these are solutions where the main value for the player is to see the jackpot amount on the screen and hoping that the rare event will someday work. This solution can be quick and inexpensive in the installation, but it has little effect on the constant involvement of the player: between rare large almost nothing happens.
| What makes such decisions look strong | What does this mean for casinos |
|---|---|
| Easy Delivery | Faster to implement if client only needs a basic jackpot screen |
| Jackpot Screen | The amount is visible, there is an advertising effect, but the amount itself does not guarantee regular rates |
| Input remote | Complex sensors are not always needed |
| Design customization | You can add a logo and casino design |
| Statistics | Casino sees history of results |
How to explain the Gen3 difference
This is a competitor for the client who wants “just a jackpot screen”: show the amount, add basic event input and get minimal statistics. But it is important to explain the limitations of such a scheme. The jackpot screen alone does not create a sustainable player participation. If the event happens very rarely, the player must bet again and again in hopes someday win a big prize. Many players quickly stop participating because they haven’t see no result. There are fewer bets, which means the progressive jackpot itself is growing slower.
In a strong bonus-jackpot system, there should be small and medium events between rare major events winnings. They support the feeling that the system is actually playing, and not just showing a distant amount on the screen.
| Customer question | How to answer |
|---|---|
| “Why do we need to make it more difficult if we can put a screen with a jackpot?” | The screen shows the amount, but does not solve the main problem: how to regularly motivate the player to make a bonus bet. If players do not see wins for a long time, they stop betting and the jackpot grows slowly. Gen3 adds small and medium events, a large progressive jackpot, a risk game and a clear scenario for the dealer. |
| "A simple solution is less expensive" | Not necessarily. The final cost depends on the contract: fixed fee per table, percentage of turnover, percentage of income, equipment, support and contract term. Gen3 can be flexibly packaged commercially, including pilot and deferred supplier compensation. You need to compare not only the entry price, but the result: how many players make a bonus bet and how much the casino earns from the mechanics. |
Meeting phrase:
Simple screen solutions sell the appearance of a jackpot. Gen3 sells regular player participation: bonus bet, small and medium winnings, rare large jackpot, risk game, VIP ranges and clear work of the dealer.
Where Gen3 is really stronger
| Gen3's strong point | Why is this important | How to talk to a client |
|---|---|---|
| Flexible bets for VIP | A small fixed bet is not interesting for an expensive player | “The bet can be adjusted to the table limits, rather than limiting everyone to one small amount.” |
| Wheel of Fortune as a risk game after winning | The player already understands what the player is risking | "We do not ask the player to make another similar bet. The Wheel of Fortune appears after a win and gives a choice: take the amount, multiply it or lose this win." |
| De-emphasis on the mystery jackpot | At high stakes, small random payouts quickly become noise | "We rely on large jackpots, clear events and risk games, rather than small random payouts." |
| Settlement after the result | In typical publicly described electronic progressive systems, the bonus bet is often fixed and physically removed before the hand is dealt. The player may feel that the money has already been lost | "In Gen3, participation is recorded, but settlement occurs after the result. For the player, this is closer to the normal logic of playing at the table." |
| Table error corrections | Dealer mistakes should not stop the game at the table | "The system provides a controlled scenario for correcting a bet, box or event." |
| Tiger vs Dragon | The game has only two real cards, so the bonus model is difficult to build | "Gen3 adds a virtual third card and provides the basis for bonus events." |
| Multicurrency | There may be different currency zones in Asia and the CIS | "The system can take into account the actual currency practices of the floor." |
| Visual customization | The casino wants the product to look like it belongs on its floor | "We can make screens, animations and the overall image to match the casino brand." |
| Advertising screens and videos with jackpot | Competitors' public materials typically feature tableside screens, but separate delivery of advertising content for casino interior and exterior screens does not stand out as a major selling point | “We can not only show the jackpot at the table, but also give the casino advertising screens and videos with the current jackpot amount for the hall, entrance area and external screens.” |
Why the mystery jackpot is not the main focus of Gen3
Mystery jackpot is a payout based on a hidden condition. Usually a range is specified for it, for example from 100 to 500 dollars, and the system gives out such a prize without an open card combination.
The typical logic is this: a portion of each bonus bet contributes to the Mystery Jackpot fund. When the fund reaches a predetermined hidden range, the Mystery Jackpot is triggered and paid out. With small bets, the fund grows slowly, so such payouts feel like a rare, pleasant bonus. With large bonus bets, the fund is replenished much faster. It reaches the hidden payout range more quickly, so the Mystery Jackpot starts to trigger too often.
On a mass-market table, this mechanic may look like a nice random bonus. But at high stakes it quickly loses its meaning:
- with a large bonus bet, the Mystery Jackpot fund is quickly replenished and reaches the hidden payout range;
- a payout like $195 or $220 does not create a strong emotion for a player who bets big;
- small random payments distract the dealer;
- the player does not receive a big advertising moment, but a small event that does not change player interest in system;
- for VIPs this looks weaker than a chance at a large progressive jackpot or a conscious risk game.
Example:
A player at the VIP table makes a $100 bonus bet. If the mystery jackpot often gives out prizes around 150-300 dollars, this does not look like a strong event. The player receives a small increase while the dealer is forced to stop and make the payment, and the rest of the table is waiting. For a major player, such payments are not a real win, and for the table they take time in calculations. As a result, the mechanics creates noise, but does not provide the emotion for which a player looks at a large progressive jackpot.
For a mass-market table, this may be tolerable: a small random prize can maintain attention. For a high-limit table, the logic is different. One large promotional jackpot amount, clear bonus events and a risk game after a win work better than frequent small random payouts.
Therefore, Gen3 is better explained through a large progressive jackpot, bonus events, flexible bet and risk game after winning. The mystery jackpot can be understood as a market mechanic, but not as the main one sales accent.
What is not considered a unique advantage
When talking to a client, it is important not to exaggerate. Strong competitors also have progressive jackpots, linked tables, equipment, basic statistics and configurable parameters. If we call these things unique Gen3 advantages, the sales manager will quickly lose credibility.
| Sign | How to speak more precisely |
|---|---|
| Total jackpot for many tables | Many strong systems have this, and Gen3 does too. The difference between Gen3 is not in the fact of the shared jackpot, but in the flexible bonus bet, risk game, settlement after the result and support for the necessary games. |
| Flexible bets | The market offers flexible bets and prize levels. For Gen3, this needs to be linked to a specific task: VIP limits, real casino betting ranges and settings for the hall. |
| Baccarat and Poker-family | These games are available from many providers. It's stronger to say that Gen3 covers them along with Niu Niu and Tiger vs Dragon in one system. |
| Simplicity of the dealer interface | Many vendors talk about a simple interface. The advantage of Gen3 is better explained through real-life scenarios: fewer unnecessary actions, correction of an incorrect bet and no stopping the game due to a common error. |
| Design for the casino brand | Customization is available from different suppliers. For Gen3, it is more important to sell not a “logo on the screen”, but an exclusive picture for the hall, interior, audience and advertising image of the jackpot. |
Gen3 advantage over every competitor
| Who are they comparing with | What they have publicly is strong | Where Gen3 is stronger or more accurate |
|---|---|---|
| AGS | STAX, several levels of prizes, notable visual events, branding and a wide range of progressive products | Don't argue about the general jackpot, flexible bets and support for different games: Gen3 also has this. It’s better to talk about settlement after the result, a risk game after winning without a separate bet on the Wheel of Fortune, adaptation to a VIP hall, Niu Niu and a separate Tiger vs Dragon model |
| TCSJOHNHUXLEY Supernova | Ready-made hardware kit, sensors, screen, dealer remote control, different jackpot scenarios, mystery prizes, setting up prize triggering and jackpot replenishment | Gen3 can be implemented more easily without requiring sensors. Stronger emphasis on one large promotional amount, player-centric mathematics, post-result settlement, avoidance of mystery jackpot overload on VIP bets and managed table error corrections |
| Galaxy Gaming / GOS / Triton | Catalog of games and branded bonus bets, sensors, dealer remote control, progressive settings for different games, prize levels and bet denominations | Don't argue with the catalogue. Gen3 also has ready-made settings for bonus mathematics, but it is strongest where you need to select basic mathematics and then modify it for a specific hall, VIP and Asian games |
| Light & Wonder / Shuffle Master | Brand, scale, game portfolio, wide distribution, network progressive solutions | Gen3 is not a stronger brand. The advantage is niche accuracy: VIP ranges, Asia, Baccarat, Niu Niu, Tiger vs Dragon, multi-currency and more flexible adaptation to a specific casino |
| Ten Stix | Niche Baccarat product with bonus bets and progressive jackpot, easy to implement | Gen3 is wider: not only Baccarat, but also Niu Niu, Tiger vs Dragon, Poker-family, shared progressive jackpot, risk game and flexible betting ranges |
| Paltronics GES | Baccarat jackpots, mystery jackpots and selected betting or poker hall products | Gen3 is stronger where the casino wants one clear scenario at the table: bonus bet, small and medium events, large progressive jackpot, post-win risk game and a simple dealer interface. Plus there is a stronger emphasis on VIP, settlement after the result and the absence of dependence on the mystery jackpot as the main emotion |
| SET-Europe and similar screen solutions | Quick delivery of a basic jackpot screen, input console and simple statistics. The main idea is to show the jackpot amount | Gen3 is stronger because it is not limited to the rare event screen. It provides small and medium winnings, a large progressive jackpot, a risk game, flexible bets and a clear dealer script |
How to explain this without unnecessary controversy
Incorrect:
They don't have a common jackpot, but we do.
You can’t say that: strong competitors often have a common progressive jackpot.
Correct:
Many strong systems have a common jackpot, and we have it too. The difference is not in the counter itself, but in how the player places a bet, how often events appear, how the VIP range works, how the dealer fixes the bug and is there support for the casino games you need, including Niu Niu and Tiger vs Dragon.
Incorrect:
It’s more difficult for them, it’s easier for us.
Correct:
Many systems have sensors, remotes and basic statistics. Gen3 should be easy to use: the dealer sees the minimum set of necessary actions, the manager sees clear indicators, but the player does not receives extra similar bids.
Where competitors are stronger
| Competitors' strengths | What does this mean | How to answer |
|---|---|---|
| Brand and trust | It's easier to trust a large supplier | "Yes, the brand is important. Our strength is flexibility for a specific hall and Asian games." |
| Finished equipment | Sensors, screens and remotes are already packaged in the product | “Hardware is important, but you can start simpler and add automation later.” |
| Ready set of games and bonus bets | The casino receives ready-made bonus games: name, rules, payout table and launch materials. This helps confidence at the start, but does not by itself prove that the mechanic will work better at a particular table | “Gen3 also has ready-made bonus math settings and proven bonus math. The difference is that we can not only choose a ready-made setting, but also adapt it for the hall, VIP limits, Asian games, currencies and real dealer scenarios.” |
| Simple Solutions with Jackpot Screen | It's faster to put a screen that shows one jackpot amount and a basic input remote for the dealer | “If the casino only needs a screen with one large amount, this is an option. But such a screen in itself does not motivate the player to regularly place a bonus bet. For engagement, small and medium events are needed, a risk game and clear bonus mechanics.” |
| Global distribution | Large suppliers have more installations and exhibition history | “This is their strong point. Our focus is substantive work with the hall, VIP and mechanics.” |
How to talk to a client
Don't start:
We have a better jackpot.
Better:
There are strong jackpot systems on the market. We differ in that we solve not only the problem of a large the amounts on the screen, but also the task of the real table: a clear bet for the player, flexibility for the VIP, risk game after a win, corrections for dealer errors and a separate model for Tiger vs Dragon.
When compared to AGS
AGS is strong with progressive product packaging, branding, STAX and noticeable visual events. Gen3 worth watching if Asian games, VIP ranges, risk play after a win and work tempo are important dealer.
If compared to TCSJOHNHUXLEY
TCSJOHNHUXLEY is strong with a ready-made hardware kit. Gen3 can be launched easier: first give casino working scenario at the table, increased player participation and a large jackpot for advertising, and add automation with sensors where it is really needed.
When compared to Galaxy Gaming
Galaxy is strong with its set of ready-made games and bonus bets. Gen3 is strong due to its combination of ready-made mathematical settings and flexibility: you can choose a basic setting and modify it to suit the desired games, VIP limits, currencies and the operation of a specific casino.
If compared to Light & Wonder
Light & Wonder is strong in scale and brand. Gen3 is interesting as a more targeted solution for gaming tables, especially if the casino works with Asian games and VIP.
When compared to a simple jackpot screen
The screen shows the amount, but does not in itself guarantee the participation of players. Gen3 adds mechanics: bonus bet, events, risk game, funds, statistics and managed dealer work.
