Gen3 Jackpot: An end-to-end guide for the sales manager
Why is this document needed?
This document introduces a person who has not previously worked with casinos, gaming tables, bonus bets and jackpot systems.
It is not the task here to describe each mechanic in detail. The task is different: to give a complete picture so that the sales manager understood what they are selling, who needs it, and why the product might be valuable to the casino.
Details are provided in separate documents:
- Casino domain - how gaming tables, boxes, pits, roles and the commercial casino environment.
- Bonus systems - why players and casinos need bonus bets and progressive jackpot.
- Game process - how a player places a bet, what winnings exist, how funds, jackpot and return to player work.
- Hardware and delivery - what is installed in the casino for the system to work.
- Third generation - what exactly changed in Gen3.
- Gen3 and the market - what the product competes with.
- Sales playbook - ready-made formulations, questions and answers to objections.
Short version
Gen3 is a bonus and jackpot system for casino gaming tables.
It does not replace the main game. The player continues to play Baccarat, Niu Niu, Tiger vs Dragon, Blackjack or Poker-family games. A bonus bet appears on top of the main game: it offers the chance for bonus payouts, a large shared jackpot and a risk game after a win.
For the player, the product provides more emotions and a chance for a large payout.
For casinos, the product provides additional turnover around already operating tables, advertising jackpot amount jackpot on screens and more reasons for players to repeat bets.
For a dealer, the product should be simple: a minimum of unnecessary actions, a clear scenario and the ability to fix a common operational error without stopping the entire game at the table.
Main formula:
Gen3 adds a bonus bet, a large shared jackpot and a risk game to gaming tables, while maintaining clear scenario for the player and the dealer.

Important: These videos show the second generation of the product. It's already outdated. What does Gen mean
Gen means product generation.

How the casino environment works
Casinos are not just about games. This is a real operating environment: players, dealers, gaming tables, pits, VIP zones, management, money, payments, control and controversial situations.
For our product, the most important area is the gaming tables. This is where the players place their bets, the dealer leads game, the pit boss and supervisors control the process, and management looks at revenue, the pace of the game, VIP segment and table efficiency.
Basic terms:
- Game table - the physical table at which the game is played.
- Boxes - the player’s playing position or place of bet at the table.
- Float - the working stock of chips or money on the table: the compartment where the dealer removes the losers bets and where it makes regular payouts.
- Paytable - rules that show how much a player receives for a specific combination or bonus event.
- Pit - a group of gaming tables in one area of the casino.
- Dealer - a person who plays the game, accepts bets and pays out winnings.
- Supervisor/inspector - the first level of control over several tables.
- Pit boss - a person who is responsible for the pit and controversial situations in the table area.
- Manager / General Manager - people who look at the product as a business: revenue, VIP segment, risks, implementation and commercial model.
This is described in detail in the document Casino domain.
Why is this interesting for the player?
The player at the table is already making the main bet. The bonus system adds a second emotional layer:
- chance for a big jackpot;
- frequent small bonus events;
- the possibility of risk games after winning;
- the feeling that something more can happen at the table than the usual result of the main game.
A large jackpot amount is important in itself. A jackpot of $200,000, $300,000 or $400,000 is available display on screens, use as an advertising object in the hall and create a visual presentation around it. The player first reacts not to the internal calculations of the system, but to a large figure that is understandable a picture and a feeling of chance.
Gen3 can use the progressive jackpot not only on the screen at the table, but also as an advertising casino content. The system can give out the current jackpot amount almost in real time and beautiful animation that the casino shows on the internal screens of the hall, at the entrance to the casino, on the facade, outdoor billboards, screens along the road to the casino and other advertising surfaces.
For advertising, one large amount works better than many small counters. It's easier to remember easier to show inside and outside the casino and easier to turn into a message for players: “we now have such a jackpot." This approach has already been used in real implementations, for example in Kazakhstan and Vladivostok.
Why does the casino buy this?
For casinos, the product is interesting not because it is “another screen”. It adds money and activity where tables are already working.
The casino receives:
- additional stream of bonus bets;
- more visible gaming tables;
- advertising jackpot amount in the hall;
- advertising screen content with the current jackpot amount and animation;
- more interest among players between regular hands;
- mechanics that may be of interest not only to the mass player, but also to VIPs;
- ready-made bonus mathematics settings that can be selected at the start;
- the ability to develop or modify mathematics for a specific hall, games, limits and currencies;
- reporting on bets, payouts, jackpot fund and minimum jackpot reserve fund;
- the ability to adapt the visual part to the interior and brand of the casino.
An important selling point: a strong bonus system does not earn money through maximum greed with each bet, but through engagement and repeat bets. If the player sees the return, events and a real opportunity to win big, the player is more willing to participate again.
What is especially important in Gen3
Gen3 builds on the ideas of earlier versions and removes things that were frustrating for players and staff. Key changes:
- a separate bet on the Wheel of Fortune has been removed;
- Wheel of Fortune is reimagined as a risk game after a winning combination;
- the bonus bet is settled after the end of the round, and is not taken from the player in advance;
- the dealer can correct common errors in a controlled scenario;
- the system is suitable for different betting ranges, including VIP and high-limit tables;
- multi-currency supported;
- a separate bonus model has been created for Tiger vs Dragon through a virtual third card.
Details: Third generation.
How the system manages tables
Gen3 works on a client-server model. For a sales manager, this is not a technical detail, but important principle of the product.
The casino has a central server and many clients. Each client is a gaming table: the dealer screen, player screen and computer at the table. The tables accept the dealer's actions and show the players the events, but the main logic is on the server.
Server:
- stores and controls the total progressive jackpot;
- knows which tables are connected and what bets are made;
- decides on which table and at what bet the bonus event occurs;
- manages funds, payments and the minimum jackpot reserve;
- synchronizes the state between tables;
- provides data for reporting, control and advertising screens.
Simply put:
The table is the workplace of the game. The server is the center of logic that manages the jackpot, events, funds and the general economy of the system.
This is important for a large jackpot: several tables, different games and even several sites can work with one general logic and one progressive jackpot.
Why Tiger vs Dragon needs to be highlighted
Tiger vs Dragon is important for Asian markets. There are only two real cards in the main game: one for the Tiger side and one for the Dragon side. It's almost impossible to build on two cards an interesting system of rare bonus combinations.
Gen3 solves this through a virtual third card. The main game does not change, but the bonus system receives the basis for payouts, jackpot events and risk games.
It's not just adding a game name to the list. This is a separate bonus model for a specific game.
What has been proven by practice
Early versions of the system already worked in real casinos.
In one of the cases, the system replaced another bonus system, and the number of bonus bets for the same tables increased approximately 2-3 times. Casino profits based on this mechanic also increased by approximately 2 times.
In another case, they tried to bring a seemingly similar replacement to the level of our system for about six months. After the replacement, player activity dropped to about 20% of its previous level.
Conclusion for the sales manager:
Players react to more than just the screen. They react to a large jackpot, frequency of events, understandable mechanics, feeling of impact and trust in the system.
Details: Field proof.
How to reduce risk for casinos
Gen3 can be offered not only as a direct purchase or a long-term contract, but also as a pilot for limited time. A practical option is 1-2 months of test operation on a limited number of tables.
During the pilot period, the casino looks at real indicators:
- number of bonus bets;
- total volume of bonus bets;
- VIP participation;
- average bonus bet;
- frequency of small, medium and large events;
- casino profit based on mechanics;
- convenience of the dealer;
- players' reactions. A commercial pilot can be made soft for the client: without interest or a fixed fee to our benefit for the duration of the test, with deferred remuneration to the supplier only upon signing the contract after pilot or paying only direct costs for equipment and support.
The main rule: before the pilot starts, you need to agree on what metrics are considered successful. Then The conversation after the test is not about opinions, but about numbers.
What it looks like in the hall
The table usually has:
- dealer touch screen;
- large screen for players;
- mini-PC hidden inside the table structure;
- server part in the technical area of the casino;
- a physically clear bonus bet area on the felt.
At the first stage, you can launch without bet sensors. It's faster and safer for the casino: no need immediately deeply remodel the tables. A conventional sensor records the fact of a bet in the zone, but does not count the amount and chip denominations, so its absence does not interfere with the start. Sensor support and recognition bet recognition through cameras can be laid down as a development. The visual part can be adapted to a specific casino: screens, splash screens, jackpot animation, risk game style, design of bonus events and the overall image for the brand and interior of the hall.

Main idea
Gen3 needs to be explained not as a set of features, but as a way to make gaming tables more active.
The player receives additional interest and a chance to win big. The casino gets more bonus bets, advertised jackpot amount and managed product economics. The dealer receives a script that should not break the pace of play at the table.
Not just a jackpot for the player, but a bonus jackpot platform for casino gaming tables.
